Music’s Biggest Night will return to Los Angeles’ Staples Center when the 58th annual Grammy Awards take the stage on Feb. 15, 2016 — the ceremony’s first-ever Monday telecast. CBS Television will air the live broadcast 8-11:30 p.m. EST. The eligibility year for the 58th Grammy Awards is Oct. 1, 2014 to Sept. 30, 2015.

Featuring performances by Smith, Beyoncé,Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and others, the telecast drew 27 million viewers and sparked 20.9 million show-related Tweets globally.

“This year has already proven to be an exciting year in music,” states Neil Portnow, president/CEO of The Recording Academy. “As we continue to strive for excellence, our strengthened relationships with our stellar partners will show that we can, once again, create what is universally known as Music’s Biggest Night, by honoring and celebrating the best that music has to offer.”
Adds Lee Zeidman, president of the Staples Center and L.A. Live, “We are proud to partner again with The Recording Academy. “It is certainly a tribute to the City of Los Angeles and our venue that for the 16th time we will welcome music’s most talented performers to the industry’s most prestigious awards show at L.A.’s most popular destination for live entertainment.”
