Not every pop star has the privilege of having a custom-made Barbie designed after themselves, but fortunately for Zendaya, she had the honor of having one made for her 2015 Oscars look.
Zendaya shared two pictures of her Barbie on Instagram on Sept. 26 — one of herself kissing it, as well as a close-up of the doll’s side profile next to her own. The look-alike doll, which was displayed at the Barbie Rock ‘N Royals Concert Experience in Los Angeles on Saturday night, is dressed to impress in a replica of Zendaya’s Vivienne Westwood gown worn at the 2015 Oscars.
“When I was little I couldn’t find a Barbie that looked like me,” she wrote to her followers. “My… how times have changed. Thank you @barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be a part of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty.”
