Britney Spears’ top hit singles all came together on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas. Britney performed a medley of her smash hits at the T-Mobile Arena stage to celebrate her Millennium Award honor at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
The show opened in grand fashion as Britney kicked off her medley with her 2013 single “Work B—h.” Gaining her confidence, the diva worked the stage amongst her team of backing dancers and threw down some power moves while segueing from “Work B—h” into “Womanizer.” Next up, she rode a giant guitar during a little bit of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” before bridging into “Breathe On Me,” “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Touch Of My Hand,” and finally, “Toxic.”
The Billboard Millennium Award honors artists with exceptional achievements and influence in the music industry. Spears began her career with her hit “…Baby One More Time,” which eventually went 14 times platinum in the U.S. alone and blazed a path for 23 future Top 40 singles.
Past recipients of the Millennium Award include fellow chart toppers and record breakers Beyoncé (2011) and Whitney Houston (2012).
