Cooper Phillip On New Single “Party By Myself”

1. What inspires you to do music?

I don’t remember a time in my life where music wasn’t a huge part of my every day life. I started writing songs because I wanted to share my stories from real life situations because i know somewhere someone else is dealing with the same situation. I want to send out a message that we should not be afraid of anything, we should trust ourselves more, and hopefully that message helps make this world a better place.

2. What are you currently working on?

I am finishing up a 5 song EP that will be coming out in the next few months. All of the songs on this EP are connected to a message of self-love, sharing and independence. This project represents a musical vision and state of mind that is new to my life – I’ve never been this vulnerable in my music before. After launching Party By Myself and hearing how the song is inspiring so many people, I am even more excited to release the rest of the songs!

3. How do you feel the current state of the entertainment industry?

It’s so hard to be an artist today. You have to do so much to separate yourself from others in the industry, but at the same time there are so many artists out there to draw inspiration from. Only TRUE, hardworking artists will win in today’s business, and I think that challenge – to be honest in your work and treat everyone around you with respect – will make the industry stronger as a whole.

With her stunning voice, beautiful looks and intense drive, COOPER PHILLIP captures the undivided attention of the eyes and ears around her. COOPER has always been a small town girl with dreams bigger than anyone could fully imagine. Born in Russia to a family of classical musicians, her early years were shaped being raised by her grandmother and aunt while her mother, a master violin player, toured around the world with various symphonies.
